Welcome to 2nd Shot - Second Chance for Military Veterans!

2nd Shot is a unique organization.  We're dedicated to helping military veterans of all ages successfully transition into civilian careers. Other organizations help vets who want to become military contractors. But, little is being done for vets who seek to go into the workforce or start their own business. 

That's where we come in.  We provide training, coaching and a host of online resources to these vets. In this way, we help them take their best shot at their civilian careers.

Non-Profit Status

As of May 19, 2009, 2nd Shot is a legal non-profit, operating under Community Minded Enterprises.  This is a huge development for us.  It means you can donate to 2nd Shot and it will be a tax-deductable donation.  We are happy to discuss creative donations with you, such as life insurance and endowment funding.  We are also available to deliver presentations on who we are and how you can participate.
